For organizations working in domestic violence, sexual violence, crisis response, and community support, finding funding is an ongoing part of keeping services available.

We’ve rounded up eight opportunities across Canada and the U.S. with November and December 2026 deadlines. Some focus on survivor services, while others support prevention, family programs, or organizations facing unexpected funding disruptions.

Here’s what each opportunity supports and which organizations may want to take a closer look.

Canada

1. Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program — Anti-Racism Call

Deadline: November 12, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET
Location: Canada

This program supports community-based projects addressing systemic racism and discrimination, with a focus on inclusion and equitable access within organizations and institutions.

Who could this be helpful for?

Community organizations working on a specific project to address racial barriers to services. For example, an organization could explore this opportunity for collaborative work that improves how racialized communities access support.

The project needs to directly meet the call’s anti-racism objectives. Serving a diverse community on its own does not establish eligibility.

A Few Things to Check Before Applying

Before putting time into an application, check where the funding is available, which expenses it covers, and whether there are any preliminary requirements. Some opportunities require matching funds, an existing relationship with the funder, or a letter of inquiry before a full application.

It also helps to have a clear picture of the need you’re trying to meet. Call volumes, referral barriers, unmet needs, and program outcomes can help explain what your community is experiencing and how funding would support your response.

We hope these opportunities give your team a useful place to start. Follow the links above to confirm current requirements and deadlines, and pass along anything that may be helpful to another organization.
